Tiddleywinks

Heaven gave us tiddleywinks
we flip them back and forth but we don't know
where they go.

Sometimes we can sort of direct the tiddleywinks
and think they may do something
important.

Sometimes they land on a bug
wheather a ladybug - then it's murder
or a cockaroach - then it's polluted.

Sometimes we have to follow th tiddleywinks
into the next room
maybe its the bathroom where little boys go every day
or the kitchen where the cats must play
or the bedroom, silent with sleepers today.

Tiddleywinks are fun
if you can loosen up and see what they do
If you just worry about the next hop
the game will be quite blue.

Next installment:
"Through the eyes of a paperclip"

I like your poetry; its fresh and seems to come from an innocent place and flows like honey and cinnamon.
My gal and I lived in NMex. long ago, Albuquerque. Went up to hot springs towards Santa Fe a lot. I wonder if they still exist, but then how do you destroy hot water running out of a mountain ridge with a Hopi chanting nearby?
I would try the cleome if you can get seeds. Put them in shade and water, water, water, since they seem to be succulents.
Thanks for visiting.

Thanks goatman I will try
Its been long, I am in the southern part of the state, but I can't imagine NM without those springs, it would be too strange.
