Moving
Trudging into another place through dark browns and green
maybe the place I need is more gold, this peace
this peace is now squashing me
So unbuglike I wish to be
in the gold and rich sunlight and the green green desert trees
So I will be moving to the sun today
carrying my heart pictures
into the salty clouds
There, look at that one, with the gold rim
Find me there, drifting in the wind.

wow... Echo...
i feel my blood rushing faster...
how could you do it? your words set all things to moving --
an escape from the static..
and as in all your beautiful poems, the colors and the light are painting a gorgeous painting here...
love the ending with all those kinetic images and words...
the pic is stunning too... we can feel that urge in those tiny feet to move forward...
So unbuglike I wish to be
So unbuglike I wish to be
So unbuglike I wish to be

i should go and tell Adee to come over and read this...
his last post was "Static"
I see you, I see you! ... drifting by in the warm spring breeze. And off you go to seek the peace which "passeth all understanding" (seems I remember that from when I went to church in the olden days).
Minister would wish us that just before releasing us to another week of sin and tribulation!!
Happy early spring. Me . . . I am still very cold here. But hoping
Moving to the sunlight is good...and in the clouds you learn to fly--
And the little lizard is a sun-worshiper, too!
This poem takes me out of the darkness...
I could imagine you looking over my shoulder as I sew this morning on green, greens, and golds...
your little creature came to me and I enjoyed his/her visit.
Dear Echo: I posted a comment this morning, but perhaps it didn't make it through? It's lovely to meet you - thanks for visiting my blog. We have common acquaintances - I have always enjoyed reading your comments on Lynn's and HB's blog ... plus I love your picture of the bear. I once had a dream I was a big mama bear and I LOVED that feeling of such solidness.
I enjoy your poetry. In this cold Canadian winter, your words bring me much warmth and gold and sunshine ... it is appreciated!
