Grrrr

Growling at the edge of snap
crackle
firelightning flittering off the edges of time
where
the dangerous pussy cat of the soft city
wants to regress into black and white stripes
a candy mass to swamp over the annoying little children
but
just so much Sweet the war
is
to growl or hug, cuddle or shove the ambidextrous
way of parenthood, take and give
plate the need to take up spoonerisms like
cherish every day
and the whack out loud and hard theory.
Braided into one tight confusing knot
the need to claw, hiss, pull, push, protect, squash
Grrrrr.

Your world is an odd one; but now I must have to look up "spoonerisms".

May be a sparse word like "runcible" (Owl and Pussycat poesy), used very little?

I read it a few times.. every time the knot grew tighter.. "plate the need to take up spoonerisms" was wonderful ..
